My housemate’s dog, Porkchop, came across an abandoned rabbit nest. All of the babies except for two had already succumb to exposure. Now we have become foster parents for these two eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) kits. We’ve named them Flopsy and Mopsy and feed them a strict diet of fresh goat milk. All in all it takes about four grad students and one farmer to adequately care for two baby bunnies.

This happened to me once! I was over at my friends house and her dog kept going under the porch, and then started coming...
